The University of South Carolina is one of the major universities in the Southeastern United States. About 26,000 students attend USC from all 50 states and over 100 countries, making the University of South Carolina one of the nation's most diverse. EPI students attend classes in the same buildings as USC students allowing internationals a chance to interact with American students. In addition, many teachers coordinate with USC instructors to plan projects and classroom interaction between our students and theirs.

University Courses

EPI students regularly observe university courses in various disciplines. They also participate in academic activities, along with American students, in such fields as Foreign Languages, Anthropology, International Relations, and Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Administration.

University 101

This is an undergraduate course addressing the specific needs of college freshmen adjusting to college life. This USC program is ranked first in the U.S. in this category. EPI students have an opportunity to share their ideas with American college students when they visit University 101 classes.
